The method comprises the following steps: determining the average climbing energy consumption of a vehicle on a climbing road section and the corresponding estimated endurance mileage when the vehicle climbs at the average climbing energy consumption according to the driving information of the vehicle on the climbing road section, the road section information of the climbing road section and the energy storage and supply information of an energy storage unit in the vehicle; acquiring an initial endurance mileage when the vehicle reaches the climbing starting point; determining an endurance adjustment factor; and determining a target endurance mileage according to the endurance adjustment factor, the estimated endurance mileage and the initial endurance mileage.
