The connecting structure of the motor and the speed reducer of the hoisting mechanism or the luffing mechanism comprises a winding drum, the speed reducer and the motor, and the winding drum, the speed reducer and the motor are installed on a balance arm of a tower crane through a chassis cross beam; the motor is installed on the underframe cross beam through a supporting rod assembly, the supporting rod assembly comprises a supporting rod I, a bolt ejector rod and a supporting rod II, the supporting rod I is connected with the supporting rod II through the bolt ejector rod, and the supporting rod II is fixed to the underframe cross beam; the speed reducer and the motor are fixedly connected together through a sleeve type flange, and the coupler is located in the sleeve type flange. According to the invention, the design requirement of large rope capacity of the hoisting mechanism is met, and the design requirements of miniaturization and light weight of the hoisting mechanism or a luffing mechanism are also met.
