The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle inspiration integrated hybrid power supply and method. The unmanned aerial vehicle inspiration integrated hybrid power supply comprises a fuel engine, an engine electronic control unit (ECU), a generator, an inspiration controller, an energy storage power supply and a fuel power generation controller. No mechanical connection exists between a stator and a rotor of the generator, the stator is fixedly connected with a fuel engine body, and the rotor is fixedly connected with an output shaft of the fuel engine. The controller is started to integrate rectification and inversion functions, and the system is simple and light. The invention further provides a non-inductive starting method and a power generation control strategy. The cascade controller of the power generation control strategy aims at maintaining the voltage (electric quantity) of the energy storage power supply, regards the load current as disturbance, and rapidly compensates the load current through feedback control.
