The invention relates to the technical field of module overturning, in particular to a clutch driving system and a control method thereof. The clutch driving system comprises a pump station, a hydraulic driving mechanism, a first proportional regulator, a second proportional regulator, a third reversing valve, a first reversing valve, a second reversing valve and a controller. The first proportional regulator is connected between the pump station and the hydraulic driving mechanism; the second proportional regulator is connected between the first proportional regulator and the pump station; one end of the third reversing valve is connected with the pump station; the other end of the third reversing valve is connected with the clutch; the first reversing valve is connected between the first proportional regulator and the hydraulic driving mechanism; the second reversing valve is connected between the hydraulic driving mechanism and the pump station; and the first proportional regulator, the second proportional regulator, the third reversing valve, the first reversing valve and the second reversing valve are respectively connected with the controller. The method has the advantages of being relatively low in control difficulty and relatively high in intelligence, and the module overturning efficiency can be improved.
