The invention discloses an anti-winding method and device for steel wire ropes of a tower crane lifting machine, and belongs to the field of tower crane lifting machinery, the device comprises wires which are in one-to-one correspondence with the steel wire ropes and are arranged in parallel, the lower ends of the two wires are connected together, and the upper ends of the two wires are connected with the positive electrode and the negative electrode of a direct-current power supply respectively; the method comprises the steps that the direct-current power supply device is switched on, two wires are provided with currents opposite in current direction, two magnetic fields opposite in magnetic field force direction are generated, repulsive interaction is formed, the two steel wire ropes are effectively prevented from getting close to each other, and therefore the anti-winding effect is achieved. The problem of winding of the tower crane steel wire rope is solved, so that the working efficiency of the tower crane is improved, and safety accidents caused by winding of the steel wire rope can be reduced.
