The invention relates to the technical field of industrial transportation, and discloses a traffic control method, terminal equipment and a computer storage medium. According to the method, after a vehicle runs to a preset area detection point, a traffic detection area corresponding to the area detection point is determined; and controlling the vehicle to execute traffic control under the condition that region dynamic detection is performed based on a laser synchronous positioning and mapping technology SLAM to determine that an obstacle exists in the traffic detection region. According to the technical scheme of the invention, vehicles which may cause collision and jam in the area can be effectively detected, so that the risk of traffic collision and jam can be avoided in advance. Therefore, efficient traffic control can be carried out on third-party vehicles which cannot provide interfaces and transportation equipment such as AGVs, AMR vehicles or automatic forklifts in an offline state without depending on a network.
