The method comprises the following steps: 1, acquiring vehicle body parameters and vehicle surrounding environment data of a new energy vehicle; 2, performing path planning according to a destination input by a driver, and screening out a preferred path; 3, detecting traffic data on a route according to an optimal route obtained by route planning; 4, importing the obtained data into a comprehensive operation module, and obtaining predicted specific energy consumption data through operation; 5, obtaining the endurance mileage according to the residual electric quantity of the battery; and 6, according to the obtained energy consumption data and the endurance mileage, judging whether the vehicle can smoothly arrive at the destination or not. According to the method, the accuracy of estimating the endurance mileage of the new energy automobile in the path planning process aiming at the target location on the actual road can be improved.
