The invention provides a magnesium alloy material and a surface anti-corrosion treatment method thereof. A base material of the magnesium alloy material comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 7.4-7.9% of aluminum, 3.5-4.5% of zinc, 1.0-1.5% of yttrium, more than 0 and less than or equal to 0.08% of manganese, more than 0 and less than or equal to 0.03% of silicon, less than or equal to 0.1% of inevitable impurities and the balance of magnesium. The magnesium alloy material has the advantages of being small in density, large in damping and good in electromagnetic shielding effectiveness and machining performance by reasonably regulating and controlling the components of the base material. The invention further provides an electric drive assembly, an electric drive system and a vehicle comprising the electric drive assembly and the electric drive system.
