The invention discloses an engine starting control method, device and equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of engine control, and the engine starting control method comprises the steps that in response to an engine starting requirement of a vehicle, whether message loss exists in a clutch controller of the vehicle or not is detected; under the condition that message loss exists in the clutch controller, the current vehicle speed of the vehicle is obtained; when the current vehicle speed is smaller than or equal to the preset vehicle speed threshold value, the clutch historical state reported by the clutch controller before the message is lost and a control instruction for the clutch are obtained; the engine starting is controlled according to the historical state of the clutch and the control instruction, whether message loss exists in a clutch controller or not is rapidly detected, and when the message is lost, the engine starting is accurately controlled according to the clutch state before the message is lost and the control instruction for the clutch. The situation that the vehicle runs out of power due to the fact that the engine cannot be started to supplement power when the vehicle is low in power is avoided, and user experience is improved.
