The vehicle tyre is characterized in that the shadow rib (5) has consecutive zigzag rib sections (5a, 5b) which alternately enclose an inner corner region and an outer corner region (6, 7), additional ribs (8) having free ends each branch off from the inner corner region (6) on the same side of the shadow rib (5), and in that the additional ribs (8) each branch off from the outer corner region (7) on the same side of the shadow rib (5). The shadow line ribs (5) extending next to each other are offset relative to each other with respect to the longitudinal extension direction (ER) thereof such that the outer corner region (7) and the inner corner region (6) are located opposite each other in the case of adjacent shadow line ribs (5).
