The invention relates to a lane-level queuing length estimation method based on double-section electronic police data, and the method comprises the following steps: S1, collecting the double-section electronic police data of a downstream target lane and an upstream intersection, and obtaining a matching result through vehicle license plate matching; s2, on the basis of the double-section electronic police data and the matching result, vehicles passing through a downstream target lane are grouped into multiple groups of constrained vehicles and non-constrained vehicles by adopting a dynamic planning algorithm; s3, respectively establishing constraint conditions of non-delay arrival time for the constraint vehicle and the non-constraint vehicle; s4, on the basis of the constraint condition of the non-delay arrival time, the Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling method is adopted to calculate the arrival distribution of the constrained vehicles and the arrival distribution of the non-constrained vehicles; and S5, based on the arrival distribution of each group of constrained vehicles and non-constrained vehicles, estimating the periodic maximum queuing length of the downstream target lane. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages of being accurate in estimation, better reflecting the real traffic state and the like.
