The invention discloses a diversion sheave bearing jamming detection method, which comprises the steps of collecting a sound signal and a vibration signal when a diversion sheave works, and outputting a diversion sheave bearing jamming signal when all preset conditions are met, the preset conditions comprising: condition 1, the frequency of the sound signal falls into a preset sound frequency range; and condition 2, the amplitude of the vibration signal is greater than a preset vibration amplitude threshold. Compared with the prior art, the detection accuracy can be effectively improved, and false alarm caused by sudden speed change of the elevator is avoided.
