The method comprises the steps of obtaining racing track data of a racing track where the vehicle is located; acquiring data of shadow opponents corresponding to the racing track based on racing track car racing records; and after a running circle timing preparation instruction is received, if the vehicle passes through a start-stop line in a forward gear state, displaying an image of the racing track and/or the shadow opponent on a vehicle-mounted display according to the racing track data and the data of the shadow opponent corresponding to the racing track. According to the racing track shadow opponent challenge method of the vehicle, data of the shadow opponent corresponding to the racing track is obtained according to the racing track car racing record of the vehicle on the racing track, and when the vehicle starts to run, the image of the racing track and/or the shadow opponent is displayed on the vehicle-mounted display according to the racing track data and the data of the shadow opponent corresponding to the racing track, so that the image of the racing track and/or the shadow opponent is displayed. Therefore, the effect of cross-space-time battle is achieved, the user can be stimulated to run out better scores, and the pleasure of single-person racing is improved.
