The method comprises the steps of obtaining speed information of a vehicle where a compartment is located, a tailboard control signal of the vehicle and a signal of a sensor group; and based on at least one of the vehicle speed information, the tail plate control signal and the signal of the sensor group, at least one of the tail plate lifting mechanism and the covering driving mechanism of the tail plate surface is controlled to act. According to the method, by arranging the sensor, the state of the tail plate is accurately sensed, and structural damage caused by extrusion of the tail plate or safety accidents caused by the fact that the plate face is not closed in the vehicle running process can be avoided.
