The invention provides a vehicle gear shifting method and device, a vehicle and a storage medium, the method is applied to the field of vehicles, and the method comprises the steps that under the condition that it is determined that a transmission needs to be switched to a target gear, the transmission is controlled to take off the gear; the clutch is controlled to be disengaged during the off-gear period, and the gear in the transmission is controlled to be engaged to the target gear; under the condition that the gear in the transmission is engaged to the target gear, the clutch is controlled to be engaged, so that the rotating speed of the engine or the driving motor is adjusted to reach the target synchronous rotating speed corresponding to the target gear in the clutch engagement process; and under the condition that the rotating speed of the engine or the driving motor reaches the target synchronous rotating speed, it is determined that gear shifting succeeds. According to the method, the dynamic property of the vehicle can be improved, the starting time is shortened, and the gear shifting speed is increased.
