The invention relates to the technical field of high polymer materials, and discloses a copolymer and a preparation method and application thereof, and a polar side chain-containing copolymer and a preparation method and application thereof. The copolymer comprises 43 to 94.5 wt% of a conjugated diene chain segment, 0 to 56.5 wt% of a styrene chain segment and 0.1 to 20 wt% of a halogenated alkyl styrene chain segment. The copolymer comprises a halogenated alkyl styrene chain segment capable of providing halogen, so that the copolymer has polar reaction activity, a polar monomer can be grafted on a main chain of the copolymer through ATPR reaction, and controllable adjustment of the grafted polar side chain content and the chain length can be realized; the compatibility between the copolymer and a polar filler and between the copolymer and a polar polymer can be remarkably improved, so that the composition containing the copolymer and/or the polar side chain-containing copolymer has improved mechanical properties, wet skid resistance and heat generation performance, and can be used in the fields of high-performance tire manufacturing, plastic modification and the like.

    本发明涉及高分子材料技术领域,公开了一种共聚物及其制备方法与应用、含极性侧链共聚物及其制备方法与应用。该共聚物包含43‑94.5wt%的共轭二烯烃链段、0‑56.5wt%的苯乙烯链段和0.1‑20wt%的卤代烷基苯乙烯链段。该共聚物包含能够提供卤素的卤代烷基苯乙烯链段,使该共聚物具有极性反应活性,能够通过ATPR反应在共聚物主链上接枝极性单体,并且能够实现对接枝的极性侧链含量以及链长度的可控调节,能够显著改善共聚物与极性填料以及极性聚合物之间的相容性,使得包含该共聚物和/或含极性侧链共聚物的组合物具有力学性能、抗湿滑性能以及生热性能得到改善,能够用于高性能轮胎制造、塑料改性等领域。
