The invention relates to a method for controlling a pedal lever for a hydraulically assisted brake of an at least partially automated mobile platform, wherein the pedal lever mechanically acts on a master brake cylinder; the pedal lever is mechanically coupled to the actuation actuator, wherein: a first signal for controlling the pedal lever into the passive position is provided to a control unit for the booster brake; a first hydraulic connection is formed between the master brake cylinder and the compensation volume; and transferring the first hydraulic volume of the master brake cylinder into the compensation volume by means of an actuating actuator acting on the pedal lever in order to control the pedal lever into the passive position.
