The invention relates to the technical field of intersection passing methods, in particular to an efficient turning left-turn intersection passing method. According to the method, left-turn traffic can be guided to an area outside a main intersection, the left-turn intention is realized in a mode of far-leading turning around and directly entering an opposite right-turn lane, and the intersection is controlled by traffic signal lamps to avoid conflicts and interlaces. Through repeated testing of traffic simulation software such as Vissim and SUMO, the passing method provided by the invention can improve the passing efficiency of the intersection by about 30% on average. According to the passing method, the left-turn timing of the main intersection is canceled, the straight-going timing is prolonged, the low-efficiency condition of a conventional passing method which is characterized by straight-going and left-turn alternate passing can be avoided, and the passing potential of the intersection is released, so that the passing capacity of the intersection is greatly improved, and the current situation of urban traffic congestion is relieved.

    本发明涉及交叉路口通行方法技术领域,具体涉及一种回旋左转的交叉路口高效通行方法。该方法可将左转交通引导至主路口以外区域,以远引掉头直接进入对向右转车道的方式实现左转意图,路口由交通信号灯控制避免冲突与交织。经Vissim、SUMO等交通仿真软件反复测试,本发明提供的通行方法可提高交叉路口通行效率平均约30%。该通行方法取消了主路口的左转配时,延长了直行配时,可避免以直行与左转交替通行为特征的常规通行方法的低效率状况,释放了交叉路口的通行潜力,从而较大幅度提高了交叉路口的通行能力,缓解城镇交通拥堵现状。
