Nowadays the importance of traffic safety issues has become increasingly prominent. The intersection in road traffic safety is one of the key points. The displaced left-turn intersection is a new type of plane intersection proposed to effectively reduce the conflict at the intersection of planes and improve the traffic capacity. However, at present, China has only built a displaced left-turn intersection in Shenzhen. This paper is mainly about the traffic organization of the displaced left-turn intersection and comparing it with the traditional cross-shaped plane. It then simulates the traffic at the intersection of planes in various traffic environments (including free flow, slightly disturbed traffic, and large traffic congestion). Using the comparison of vehicle delay, number of stops, driving time and other indicators to propose a situation suitable for the construction of the left-turn drift lane plane crossing. Finally, the Vissim system simulation model is used.
