The invention provides a dynamic vibration absorber based on particle damping and a ship. The vibration absorber comprises a base, a protective cover, a spring, a box body, a supporting rod, a rotating body and damping particles. The base is fastened on a deck, and the protective cover is fixed on the base. The supporting rod is vertically arranged in the protective cover, the bottom is fixedly connected with the base, the top is fixedly connected with the protective cover, and external threads are arranged on the upper portion. A hollow cylinder is arranged in the center of the box body and is divided into an upper part and a lower part which are spaced, the bottom of the lower part is fixedly connected with the box body, the top of the upper part is fixedly connected with the inner top of the box body, and a rotating piece with internal threads is arranged between the upper part and the lower part. The upper and lower end faces of the rotating member are respectively in rolling connection with the end faces of the upper and lower parts. The supporting rod is sleeved with the hollow cylinder and the rotating piece, and internal threads of the rotating piece are matched with external threads of the supporting rod. The spring sleeves the supporting rod and is located between the box body and the base. The rotating body is fixedly connected with the rotating piece in the box body, and the box body is filled with damping particles. The vibration absorber can absorb and dissipate the vibration energy of the deck, and can widen the vibration absorption frequency.
