The invention provides a train marshalling method for a virtual marshalling control system. The train marshalling method comprises the steps that a marshalling plan is sent to a front train and a rear train to be marshaled; the vehicle information of the front vehicle is sent to the rear vehicle, and the rear vehicle establishes vehicle-vehicle communication according to the received vehicle information; information is exchanged through vehicle-to-vehicle communication, and the front vehicle and the rear vehicle are controlled to approach each other; the rear vehicle and the front vehicle check whether marshalling conditions are met or not; the front vehicle and the rear vehicle respectively send marshalling state information to the radio block center; after it is confirmed that the marshalling state information of the front vehicle and the marshalling state information of the rear vehicle are consistent, marshalling confirmation information is sent to the front vehicle and the rear vehicle; and the front vehicle and the rear vehicle are switched into a virtual marshalling mode after receiving the marshalling confirmation information. According to the train marshalling method for the virtual marshalling control system, the running state is confirmed through communication among the front train, the rear train and the wireless block, and the train is switched into the virtual marshalling state under the condition that the condition is proper, so that the line running efficiency is improved on the premise of ensuring the marshalling flexibility.
