The invention provides a speed control system and an automobile comprising the speed control system. The driving gear is designed to be meshed with different positions in the axial direction of the bevel gear under the action of centrifugal force at different rotating speeds, so that when an automobile is in a low-speed state, the torque output to wheels can be increased, and working conditions such as low-speed climbing can be well adapted; when the automobile is in a high-speed state, the torque output to the wheels can be small, and the high-speed driving working condition of the automobile can be well adapted. Moreover, due to the fact that the speed control system adopts the two-stage speed reduction mechanism, the automobile can adopt a small speed ratio, the speed of the whole automobile can be increased faster along with increase of the rotating speed of the driving motor, and therefore the acceleration performance and the maximum speed of the whole automobile can be obviously improved under the working conditions of medium and high automobile speeds. The variable speed system is suitable for different working conditions without increasing the power, the size and the like of the driving motor.
