The invention discloses a rubber tire for a railway vehicle. The tire comprises a crown area and a sidewall area, the crown region comprises a crown outer contour, a shoulder outer contour and a mold parting line of a crown and a sidewall; a first supporting edge is obtained by connecting a tire shoulder point of the outer contour of the tire crown with an intersection point of the mold parting line and the outer contour of the tire shoulder, and forms a first supporting angle with the mold parting line; intersection points of tire shoulder points of the outer contour of the tire crown and the mold parting line as well as intersection points of tire shoulder outer contours respectively form second supporting angles with connecting lines of end points of the widest band bundle layer, and the ranges of the first supporting angles and the second supporting angles are determined by determining the position relation between the tire shoulder points and the intersection points; the sidewall region is provided with a rigid support member for supporting. According to the invention, the balance point position of the inner contour of the tire core in the sidewall supporting area is optimized by designing the size of the related area of the tire, optimizing the first supporting angle, optimizing the second supporting angle and adding a single-layer or multi-layer combined high-rigidity supporting component which is distributed inside, in the middle and outside in the sidewall area.
