The invention discloses a control method and device for an engine of a vehicle, a storage medium and a processor. The method comprises the steps that the indication state of a traffic signal lamp is detected, and the traffic signal lamp is located on a road section on which a to-be-controlled vehicle runs; when the indication state is a first target indication state and the vehicle is in a driving stopping state, an engine of the vehicle is controlled to stop working, and the first target indication state is used for indicating that the vehicle is forbidden to pass on the road section; in the process that an engine of the vehicle stops working, the target duration of the traffic signal lamp waiting to be converted from the first target indication state to a second target indication state is obtained, and the second target indication state is used for indicating that the vehicle is allowed to pass on the road section; and in response to the fact that the target duration is smaller than the target duration threshold value and the engine of the vehicle meets the starting condition, the engine is controlled to continue working. The technical problem that in the idling start-stop process of the vehicle, vehicle acceleration is not timely is solved.

    本发明公开了一种车辆的发动机的控制方法、装置、存储介质和处理器。其中,该方法包括:检测交通信号灯的指示状态,其中,交通信号灯处于待控制车辆所行驶在的道路路段上;响应于指示状态为第一目标指示状态,且车辆处于停止行驶状态,控制车辆的发动机停止工作,其中,第一目标指示状态用于指示禁止车辆在道路路段上通行;在车辆的发动机停止工作的过程中,获取交通信号灯由第一目标指示状态待转换至第二目标指示状态的目标时长,其中,第二目标指示状态用于指示允许车辆在道路路段上通行;响应于目标时长小于目标时长阈值,且车辆的发动机满足启动条件,控制发动机继续工作。本发明解决了在车辆怠速启停过程中,车辆加速不及时的技术问题。
