The invention relates to an electropneumatic parking brake device (1) for inflating and deflating one or more spring-loaded brake cylinders of an electronically controllable pneumatic brake system (204) of a vehicle (200, 202), comprising: a parking brake valve unit (24), the parking brake unit has a reserve connection for receiving a reserve pressure (pV) from the parking brake reserve (26), and wherein the parking brake valve unit (24) regulates a parking brake pressure (pBP) to the at least one spring accumulator connection (8, 9) as a function of a parking brake signal (SP); and a check valve (30) arranged between the parking brake valve unit (24) and the parking brake reservoir (26) in order to prevent a return of compressed air from the parking brake valve unit (24) to the parking brake reservoir (26). According to the invention, a bypass valve (50) is provided which can be switched for inflating and deflating the spring accumulator connection (8.9), the bypass valve (50) being actuated and switched independently of the parking brake valve unit (24).
