The invention provides a liftable mobile robot and system. The liftable mobile robot comprises an AGV carrying trolley, an electric control box, a lifting mechanism, a mechanical arm, a visual system and an executing mechanism installed at the tail end of the mechanical arm. The electric control box and a chassis of the lifting mechanism are installed on the AGV carrying trolley, the bottom of the mechanical arm is connected with the top of the lifting mechanism in a fastened mode, and the visual system is installed on the mechanical arm. Wherein the AGV moving trolley moves to a preset area according to position information sent by the remote end and/or position information generated by a positioning system in the local end; the lifting mechanism drives the mechanical arm to ascend and descend to the preset height according to the height change of the material taking position and/or the stacking position. The adaptive height of the mechanical arm of the robot can be automatically adjusted according to the requirement of an actual operation scene, the operation range of the mechanical arm is enlarged, and the carrying efficiency is improved.
