The invention relates to a tire pressure sensor configuration method. The tire pressure sensor configuration method comprises the following steps: establishing communication between a vehicle ECU and a tire pressure sensor; and the vehicle ECU configures the tire pressure sensor according to pre-stored configuration parameters. Wherein the tire pressure sensor is a configurable sensor, and the tire pressure sensor can receive configuration parameters from a vehicle ECU, store the configuration parameters and operate based on the configuration parameters. According to the tire pressure sensor configuration method, effective configuration of the tire pressure sensor can be achieved, the tire pressure sensor configuration method is suitable for different vehicle types, the product development and design cost can be effectively reduced, and the development period can be shortened.
