The invention discloses a control scheme for a winch system of a rotary drilling rig. The control scheme comprises the following steps: determining a k value of a structure correlation coefficient at a time point j-1 based on a pre-calibrated dynamic friction correlation coefficient and a pressure difference and a load value, which are acquired at the time point j-1 before the previous locking action of a brake mechanism is started, of two ends of a motor; and determining a pressure difference which needs to be established at the two ends of the motor before the brake mechanism starts to release on the basis of a k value of the structural correlation coefficient at the time point j-1 and a load value acquired at the time point j before the brake mechanism starts to release.
