The invention provides a thrust generating device. A thrust generating device (24) is provided with a propeller unit (30) having a propeller (34) and a duct (38) covering the periphery of the propeller (34), and the duct (38) is provided with: a cylinder (50) disposed around the propeller (34); a hub (52) disposed on the inner side of the cylinder (50); and a plurality of duct guide vanes (54) radially extending from the hub (52) to the cylinder (50), the hub (52) and each duct guide vane (54) being disposed rearward of the propeller (34). Accordingly, noise of the cruise rotor can be suppressed.
