To provide a thrust generating device in which motor stop (locking) due to foreign matter caught in a radial gap between a stator and a rotor can be prevented.SOLUTION: A thrust generating device 12 is applied to flight equipment and has a motor 10 (brushless motor) and a propeller 11 fixed to a shaft 32 of the motor 10. A first cooling hole 50 is formed in a rotor member 44 (first facing portion) of a rotor 24, and a second cooling hole 72 is formed in a disk portion 68 (second facing portion) of a base member 26. In the motor 10, the width dimension [mm] of a gap 66 between a stator 22 and the rotor 24 in the radial direction of the motor 10 is set in such a manner that, when the steady thrust [N] of the propeller 11 that balances with the weight of the flight equipment on which the thrust generating device 12 is mounted is represented as B and the width dimension of the gap 66 is represented as A, a relation A>B×0.017 is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】ステータとロータの径方向間の隙間に異物が挟まることによるモータ停止(ロック)を防止できる推力発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】推力発生装置12は、飛行機器に適用されるものであり、モータ10(ブラシレスモータ)と、モータ10のシャフト32に固定されたプロペラ11とを有する。ロータ24のロータ部材44(第一対向部)には、第一冷却孔50が形成され、ベース部材26の円盤部68(第二対向部)には、第二冷却孔72が形成されている。モータ10では、推力発生装置12が搭載される飛行機器の重さと釣り合うプロペラ11の定常推力[N]をBとし、モータ10の径方向に沿ったステータ22とロータ24の径方向間の隙間66の幅寸法[mm]をAとした場合に、A>B×0.017を満足するように、隙間66の幅寸法が設定されている。【選択図】図3
