The invention provides an emergency avoidance method and device for an autonomous vehicle, a storage medium and a processor. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a target coordinate in a target coordinate system; drawing a target area under the target coordinate system; under the target coordinate system, determining whether the target coordinate is located in the target area or not; and under the condition that the target coordinate is located in the target area, at least controlling the automatic driving vehicle to brake. The method solves the problem that in the prior art, a method for avoiding pedestrians by an automatic driving vehicle is long in time delay, and consequently the automatic driving vehicle cannot give pedestrians very close to the head of the automatic driving vehicle in time.
