The invention discloses an electric drive axle assembly which comprises a shell assembly and a connecting assembly. The shell assembly comprises a first shell, a second shell and a third shell, the first shell and the second shell are coaxially arranged, the third shell is arranged between the first shell and the second shell, and connecting openings are formed in the sides, away from the third shell, of the second shell; the connecting assembly comprises a connecting shaft, a first connecting piece and a second connecting piece, the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece are arranged at the two ends of the connecting shaft, the connecting shaft penetrates through the first shell, the second shell and the third shell, the first connecting piece is arranged in the connecting opening in the first shell, and the second connecting piece is arranged in the connecting opening in the second shell. The first connecting piece and the second connecting piece are both used for connecting the transverse bridge assemblies on the two sides of the shell assembly. The first shell, the second shell and the third shell are coaxially connected, and the connecting shaft is horizontally arranged in the first shell, so that when the motor rotates, the rotating assemblies in the first shell, the second shell and the third shell are located at the same axis horizontal position, and the smoothness of a drive axle is prevented from being affected.
