The invention discloses a lead-acid storage battery charging matching method, and relates to the technical field of power lead-acid storage batteries, the matching method is used for charging a battery of which the open-circuit voltage is less than or equal to 1.75 unit cells, and comprises the following steps: a first stage: charging at a constant current of less than or equal to 0.15 C; in the second stage, constant-current charging is carried out; in the third stage, constant-voltage charging is carried out till full charging; a fourth stage: constant-voltage charging; the charging current of the second stage is smaller than the charging current of the first stage; the charging voltage of the fourth stage is smaller than the charging voltage of the third stage. The invention further provides application of the matching method in the field of power storage batteries. According to the lead-acid storage battery charging matching method, the matching problem of an existing charger and the lead-acid storage battery can be well solved, and the service life of the power lead-acid storage battery is further prolonged.
