The method comprises the steps that the maximum power supply current of a target charging pile and the current first remaining electric quantity, the actual temperature and the maximum charging current of a vehicle battery are obtained, and the target charging pile is a charging pile for charging the battery; calculating a target temperature of the battery according to the smaller one of the maximum power supply current and the maximum charging current and the first residual electric quantity; and determining first adjusting power of the battery temperature according to the target temperature and the actual temperature, and adjusting the battery temperature according to the first adjusting power. According to the method, the target temperature of the battery is calculated according to the charging current adopted in actual charging of the battery and the residual electric quantity of the battery, so that energy consumed when the temperature of the battery is adjusted to the target temperature is appropriate and cannot be wasted, and it can be guaranteed that the charging efficiency of the battery is highest in the environment.
