To provide a vehicle battery temperature adjusting device capable of curbing extreme reductions in temperatures of a battery and a surrounding area thereof and thereby securing sufficient start-up performance of an engine.SOLUTION: A battery temperature adjusting device 900 of a vehicle mounted with a battery 501 in an engine room 100 comprises: a housing 503 which stores the battery 501 therein with a gap 504 in between; a first air duct 301; a second air duct 302 with an upstream side thereof communicated with the gap 504; a housing intake port 507A which is open on the housing 503 toward an engine 201; an intake amount adjusting valve 305 which adjusts a first intake amount through the first air duct 301 and a second intake amount through the second air duct 302; and a controller 800 which controls operation of the intake amount adjusting valve 305. The controller 800 makes a ratio of the second intake amount higher when an ambient temperature is determined to be lower than a first threshold temperature than the ratio when the ambient temperature is equal to or higher than the first threshold temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
