The invention relates to the technical field of tower cranes, and provides a movable self-dismounting tower crane and a dismounting method, the movable self-dismounting tower crane comprises a tower crane foundation, a tower body assembly, a tower arm assembly, a tower arm dismounting assembly and a moving device; the moving device is connected with the tower crane foundation and is used for moving the tower crane foundation; the tower arm dismounting and mounting assembly comprises a guide rail assembly, a walking assembly, a dismounting and mounting manipulator and a hanging basket; the guide rail assembly comprises a plurality of guide rail units and a plurality of suspension parts; the multiple guide rail units are sequentially connected in the length direction of the tower arm assembly, and each guide rail unit is suspended below a tower arm standard section through at least one suspension piece. The walking assembly is installed on the guide rail assembly and walks in the length direction of the tower arm assembly. The hanging basket is hung below the walking assembly; the disassembly and assembly mechanical arm is installed on the walking assembly. According to the tower arm dismounting and mounting assembly, the dismounting and mounting efficiency of the tower arm standard section is improved. And the tower crane is not fixed on the foundation through the moving device, so that construction site layout and management are facilitated.
