The invention relates to a four-legged desert vehicle which comprises a guide mechanism, a vehicle body and a propelling mechanism which are sequentially connected from front to back and a walking mechanism installed on the vehicle body, the guide mechanism is used for changing the movement direction of the desert vehicle under sand, the vehicle body is used for bearing loads, and the propelling mechanism is used for generating propelling force of the desert vehicle under sand. The walking mechanism comprises four supporting legs and is used for the desert vehicle to walk on sand. The device has the advantages of being compact in structure, good in trafficability, high in adaptability, stable and reliable, and has high hiding capacity.
