The invention provides an auxiliary driving self-adaptive cruise vehicle following method which comprises the following steps: S1, acquiring the running speed of a vehicle and the running speed of a front vehicle, and acquiring the actual distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle; s2, setting a vehicle following distance threshold value according to the running speed of the vehicle; s3, different vehicle following control modes are selected according to whether there is a vehicle; if no vehicle is switched in, a common vehicle following control mode is executed according to the vehicle following distance threshold value; if the vehicle is switched in, the difference value between the running speed of the vehicle and the running speed of the switched-in vehicle is calculated, and the switched-in vehicle following control mode is executed according to the difference value and the vehicle following distance threshold value. The method has the beneficial effects that different vehicle following modes are selected according to whether a vehicle is switched in or not and the actual distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle, unnecessary speed reduction and acceleration are reduced while driving safety is guaranteed, and the riding comfort of the vehicle is improved.

    本发明提供了一种辅助驾驶自适应巡航跟车方法,包括以下步骤:S1、采集自车、前车的运行速度,采集自车与前车的实际距离;S2、根据自车的运行速度设置跟车距离阈值;S3、根据是否有车辆切入选择不同的跟车控制模式;如果没有车辆切入,则根据跟车距离阈值执行普通跟车控制模式;如果有车辆切入,则计算自车运行速度与切入车辆运行速度的差值,根据差值及跟车距离阈值执行切入跟车控制模式。本发明有益效果:根据是否有车辆切入及自车与前车的实际距离选择不同的跟车模式,在保证行驶安全的同时,减少不必要的减速和提速,提高了自车乘坐舒适度。
