The invention discloses a magnetic suspension automobile and a control method thereof.The magnetic suspension automobile comprises an axle assembly, an automobile body, an electromagnetic damping mechanism, a first magnetic suspension mechanism and a second magnetic suspension mechanism, one of the axle assembly and the automobile body is connected with the first magnetic suspension mechanism, and the other one of the axle assembly and the automobile body is connected with the second magnetic suspension mechanism; the first magnetic suspension mechanism and the second magnetic suspension mechanism are oppositely arranged, and the electromagnetic damping mechanism is arranged between the axle assembly and the vehicle body and is arranged around the peripheral surfaces of the first magnetic suspension mechanism and the second magnetic suspension mechanism; wherein the first magnetic suspension mechanism comprises a first permanent magnet structure and a first electromagnetic structure, the second magnetic suspension mechanism comprises a second permanent magnet structure and a second electromagnetic structure, and the first permanent magnet structure and the second permanent magnet structure are opposite in magnetism. The magnetic suspension automobile and the control method thereof are high in response speed, free of noise, low in energy consumption and high in safety.
