The motion control method comprises the steps that under the condition that the foot type robot is in a standing state, a control instruction is received; wherein the control instruction is used for controlling the foot type robot to move to a target position in one step, the distance between the target position and the standing position of the foot type robot is a target distance, and the target position is located in the target direction of the standing position; in response to the control instruction, determining a target correction parameter based on the target distance; and controlling a lower limb assembly of the foot type robot to move to the target position in one step according to the target correction parameter. By adopting the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the walking process of the robot can be effectively simplified, and the walking efficiency of the robot is improved.
