The second locking bolt penetrates through the second locking hole to be fixedly connected with the hydraulic nut, and the main body piece is connected with the auxiliary piece in a welded mode. Compared with the prior art, the structure of the locking device is split, the main body piece and the auxiliary piece are used for completing alignment with the propeller shaft and the hydraulic nut correspondingly, and the construction efficiency is remarkably improved; the propeller shaft, the hydraulic nut and other parts can be drilled in advance before leaving a factory, so that damage to the parts caused by secondary machining after leaving the factory is avoided, and the integrity of the propeller shaft, the hydraulic nut and other structures is effectively guaranteed. The invention further provides a locking method of the ship propeller. The locking method also has the advantages of being high in construction efficiency, good in structural integrity and the like.
