The invention provides a multi-stage track swing arm type unmanned obstacle crossing robot and an obstacle crossing method.The multi-stage track swing arm type unmanned obstacle crossing robot comprises a track chassis, first-stage swing arms, second-stage swing arms, a first driving mechanism and a second driving mechanism, the first-stage swing arms are arranged at the four corners of the track chassis respectively, and the second-stage swing arms are arranged at the four corners of the track chassis respectively; each first-stage swing arm is connected with a second-stage swing arm, the first driving mechanism is in driving connection with the first-stage swing arms, and the second driving mechanism is in driving connection with the second-stage swing arms; the crawler chassis comprises a third driving mechanism, a chassis structure and first crawlers arranged on the two sides of the chassis structure, the two ends of each first crawler are provided with a first driving wheel and a first driven wheel in meshing transmission with the first crawler respectively, and the third driving mechanism is in driving connection with the first driving wheel. Compared with the prior art, the multi-stage track swing arm type unmanned obstacle crossing robot is good in terrain adaptability and capable of meeting different requirements of different working conditions.
