The invention provides a ship monitoring device which can easily know whether other ships pass in front of or behind the other ships. A ship monitoring device is provided with: a first data acquisition unit that acquires first ship data indicating the position and speed of a first ship; a second data acquisition unit that acquires second ship data indicating the position and speed of a second ship; a risk range determination unit that determines a risk range based on the first ship data and the second ship data; determining a first range in which the risk of collision between the first ship and the second ship is equal to or greater than a predetermined value in the predicted course of the second ship, and a second range separated from the first range in the forward direction of the second ship, when the first ship is assumed to steer in an arbitrary direction and traverse in the predicted course of the second ship; and a display control unit that displays a first collision risk region including the first range and a second collision risk region including the second range on a predicted course of the second ship in an image indicating positions of the first ship and the second ship, the end portion of the first collision risk region on the second range side and the end portion of the second collision risk region on the first range side are displayed separately from the remaining end portions.

    本发明提供容易掌握在其他船的前方通过还是在后方通过的船舶监视装置。船舶监视装置具有:第一数据获取部,获取表示第一船舶的位置和速度的第一船舶数据;第二数据获取部,获取表示第二船舶的位置和速度的第二船舶数据;风险范围确定部,基于第一船舶数据和第二船舶数据,确定假定第一船舶向任意的方向转向并在第二船舶的预测航向上横穿时的、第二船舶的预测航向中的、第一船舶与第二船舶碰撞的风险达到规定以上的第一范围以及从第一范围在第二船舶的前进方向上分开的第二范围;以及显示控制部,在表示第一船舶和第二船舶的位置的图像内的第二船舶的预测航向上显示包括第一范围的第一碰撞风险区域以及包括第二范围的第二碰撞风险区域,并将第一碰撞风险区域的第二范围侧的端部以及第二碰撞风险区域的第一范围侧的端部与剩余端部区别显示。
