The present application discloses a torque control method, in one example, the method may be performed by a motor controller. The motor controller can determine the requirement for increasing the torque, specifically, the motor controller can obtain the lower limit of the rotating speed of the motor and the actual rotating speed of the motor, and when the actual rotating speed is lower than the lower limit of the rotating speed, the requirement for increasing the torque is determined. Further, the motor controller may determine a target torque based on a lower limit of the rotational speed of the motor and an actual rotational speed of the motor, the target torque being used to increase the rotational speed of the motor. Further, the motor controller can control the motor to increase the torque to the target torque. By the adoption of the scheme, the motor controller can automatically control the torque to rise, correspondingly, when the vehicle is braked to pass through the deceleration strip, the situation that the speed of the front wheels is rapidly reduced, and consequently large impact abnormal sound is caused is avoided, and the driving experience of a user is further improved.
