The electric quantity control method of the vehicle comprises the steps that the destination of the current vehicle is obtained, and an electric quantity consumption empirical value corresponding to the destination is obtained according to the destination; wherein the electric quantity consumption empirical value is obtained according to a historical electric quantity consumption value of an external discharging function when a sample vehicle is at the destination, so that a vehicle controller can determine an electric quantity target value of the current vehicle according to the electric quantity consumption empirical value; and carrying out charging and discharging control on the battery of the current vehicle according to the electric quantity target value. The embodiment of the invention can reduce the fuel consumption of the vehicle.
