The invention discloses an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Translator) over-charging set central control system and a control method, the IGBT over-charging set central control system comprises a central controller, a charging set device and a plurality of vehicle charging devices, the central controller is electrically connected with the charging set device and the plurality of vehicle charging devices, the charging set device is electrically connected with each vehicle charging device, and the central controller is electrically connected with the charging set device. In one vehicle charging device, the vehicle charging device comprises a charging pile and a charging pile controller, the charging pile controller is electrically connected with the central controller, the charging pile controller is electrically connected with the charging pile, and the charging pile is further electrically connected with the charging set device. According to the IGBT over-charging integrated central control system and the control method, a traditional single-gun multi-main-control-board framework is changed, the single-gun mode is changed into a double-gun mode or a multi-gun mode, the double-gun mode or the multi-gun mode is controlled by one main control board, therefore, centralized processing can be achieved, information transmission of multiple components is avoided, and the working efficiency is improved.
