The invention provides a solar unmanned aerial vehicle with tilting wings. The solar unmanned aerial vehicle comprises the wings, solar cells, storage batteries, motors, propellers, power nacelles, tilting mechanisms, undercarriages, a flight control system, an electrical system and a measurement and control system. The solar unmanned aerial vehicle adopts a flying wing layout, and wings are of a pneumatic structure with a high aspect ratio and a small sweepback angle; flexible thin film solar cells are laid on the upper surfaces of the wings; a storage battery capable of being charged and discharged circularly is mounted in the wing; a variable pitch propeller driven by a motor is mounted on each of two wing tips of the wings; the tilting mechanism mounted in the power nacelle can drive the outer wing sections on the two sides of the wing to tilt by more than 90 degrees; a retractable undercarriage is arranged at the front part of the position of the symmetry plane of the wing; airborne avionics equipment of flight control, electrical and measurement and control systems and the like is installed in the wings. The unmanned aerial vehicle has the advantages of a fixed-wing solar aircraft and a rotorcraft, and not only can realize vertical take-off and landing, hovering and side flight, but also can realize long-distance flight during long endurance.
