The invention relates to an elastic torsion type motor hanging structure of a railway vehicle, which comprises two motors elastically hung on a bogie and a torsion bar supported and fixed on the bogie, and the lower parts of the two motors are respectively connected with two ends of the torsion bar through transition structures. The characteristics that the two motors always have large vertical vibration and are consistent in phase are fully considered, the suspension mode that elastic suspension and torsion suspension of the motors are combined is adopted, when the two motors vibrate in the same vertical direction, the torsion bar acts, and vibration of the motors is converted into internal force of the torsion bar. Under the working condition, vibration of the motor does not affect the structure of the framework. When the motor vibrates transversely, the two elastic hanging nodes provide transverse supporting rigidity; longitudinal vibration load analysis, longitudinal backstops and torsion bars jointly provide longitudinal support stiffness.
