The invention discloses a vehicle torque adjusting method and a vehicle. The method comprises the steps that the first torque limit value of a vehicle motor is obtained, and the first torque limit value is used for representing the torque extreme value of the motor; in response to slipping of a belt on the motor, the first torque limit value is controlled to be reduced, a second torque limit value is obtained, and the belt is used for connecting the motor and an engine of the vehicle; and adjusting the actual torque of the motor based on the second torque limit value. The technical problem that in the prior art, the belt slipping control efficiency is low is solved.
