The invention relates to the technical field of metal structure repair, in particular to a method for repairing a metal structure through composite material cementing based on a health monitoring technology, which comprises the following steps: determining the direction and length of a crack; designing and manufacturing a composite material pre-curing patch; marking the damaged area of the metal structure, and carrying out primary polishing treatment; determining the arrangement direction and interval of fiber grating sensors; carrying out secondary grooving treatment; a bonding interface between the surface of the metal structure and the composite material is cleaned with an acetone solvent and dried; laying the fiber grating sensors according to the arrangement scheme; blade coating J-349 structural adhesive on the surface of the composite material, and fixing and bonding; connecting a fiber grating acquisition system; assembling a mechanical pressurizing tool, and heating; and post-processing the cured repair area, and testing a signal. According to the invention, the irrescuable consequence is avoided; the problem that the sensitivity of the sensor is reduced due to external load factors of the environment is avoided by reasonably selecting an adhesive for repairing and a pressurizing method.
